Sports And Recreation CoordinatorWe are currently seeking a full-time Sports And Recreation Coordinator to work at a high profile company's fitness center located in Mountain View, CA.What You Will Do:Respond to member/and guest suggestions, concerns, and complaints.Proactively engage members on the fitness floor, enhance enrollment, utilization, retention, revenue, and the total customer service experience by taking ownership of challenges and opportunities, and striving for the gold standard.Provide ongoing observation and interpersonal feedback of corrective measures including exercise technique, full range of motion, and proper breathing techniques to amplify benefits of exercise routines.Oversee on and off-site sports and recreation leagues, budget, and special events at multiple locations and related communications.Promote outdoor sports leagues.Work with the General Manager to plan and coordinate quarterly sports and recreation events, including equipment purchases and outdoor activities.Communicate any closures and maintenance occurring outside on the field, or basketball court.Collaborate with local community leagues to meet member satisfaction.What We Are Looking For:Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification.Basic understanding of the principles of exercise, cardiovascular, strength and flexibility programming.Knowledgeable about the industry with the customer skills to network, engage, and interact with all clients, guests, and participants.Competent with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).About Us:Plus One, part of the Optum Workplace Well-being portfolio of services, provides fitness and well-being services to clients across a broad range of industries, driving employee engagement in health and wellness programs. Pay is based on several factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, certifications, geographic differentials, and other business and organizational needs.
