We also offer company-provided short-term disability, an employee assistance program, and a wellness program./ph3Position Overview:/h3pThe Mortgage Loan Mentee is a training position to learn the business of home loans from a top producing Loan Officer and team. This role is in direct communication with clients, realtors, builders, and business partners and provides extensive training./ph3Job Responsibilities:/h3ulliFollow up on new loan leads within three hours per Pre-qual Lead Sheet instructions./liliSet, manage, and confirm all appointments for clients meet with Loan Officer and/or Loan Partner II for loan applications; communicate preparation requirements for meeting./liliEnsure follow up attempts made until appointment is set on leads added to the lead tracker./liliUpdate referral partners on status of leads received./liliMaintain a 40% or higher conversion rate from lead to appointment./liliCollect applications and manage documentation./liliAttend work sponsored events and obtain a minimum of 8 referral sources to come to each one of the monthly events./liliAttend and actively participate in daily team meetings, Monday loan reviews, and sales meetings./liliCold call new contacts and leads; obtain referrals from current clients./liliEnter detailed comments on conversations regarding files into Encompass to provide documentation./liliObtain NMLS license within 360 days./liliAdditional responsibilities as assigned./li/ulh3Qualifications and Skills:/h3ulliHigh school diploma or equivalent./liliExperience in a customer service and/or cold calling environment./liliExperience with Microsoft Office Suite./liliExcellent communication skills./liliExcellent time management and prioritization skills./li/ulpThis job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the job and the general nature and level of work performed by job holders within this job.
