Journeyman Electrician

Our client in Owensboro, KYis seeking a Journeyman Electricianto join their team. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will plan,layout, installand repairwiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus and controlequipment, as well as directing and training Electrician Helpers to do the same.The ideal candidate will have 4 years of heavy industrial Electrician experience, a welding certificate,and maintain a current state Electrical license where required which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Owensboro, KY

Pay Range: $35-$45 BOE

Whats the Job?

• Identify conduit and hardware
• Measure, cut and thread conduit
• Pull cable and wire conduit
• Identify cable tray and hardware
• Fabricate and install hangars and brackets
• Mount junction boxes
• Figure, cut and install cable tray with offsets
• Perform cad weld grinding
• Identify types and sizes of wire, cable insulation and color code of multi-conductor
• Install ground lugs
• Install lugs on 4/0 and larger cable

Whats Needed?

• Four (4) years minimum heavy industrial field experience as an Electrician.
• Maintain a current State Electrical license where required.
• Completion of welding certification(s} required by company and/or client.
• Must have locking toolbox and tools necessary to perform the job
