Position Title: IT Manager

Reports To: Global Managing Director, Corporate IT & Cyber Security

Location: Jeffersonville, Indiana


Position Summary:

This position needs to be responsible for the work between the group and the factory and lead the engineer to complete the operation and maintenance of the factory's IT equipment, facilities and system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, network administration, cybersecurity, and project management, with proven experience in a leadership role.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IT strategies and policies that align with company objectives, including system upgrades, installations, and migrations.
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective and efficient procurement of IT solutions and services.
  • Supervise and support the IT team, including hiring, training, and performance management, to ensure effective IT service delivery and project execution.
  • Responsible for IT service delivery management and user support at the manufacturing site, ensuring smooth operations across the American factory.
  • Lead the digital factory initiatives for new workshops, production lines, or technical innovation projects. This includes end-user support in both office and workshop environments, such as equipment setup, software/hardware installation, and troubleshooting (printers, scanners, computers, peripherals).
  • Assist Corporate IT in equipment docking tasks, including information gathering, vendor and business communication, network connection debugging, and deployment activities.
  • Manage the daily IT operations at the site, including data maintenance, user rights management, and troubleshooting of station pass issues, printers, and scanners.
  • Monitor the workshop network, dashboards, and servers, ensuring timely troubleshooting and resolution of any exceptions.
  • Oversee the installation, debugging, and exception handling of industrial software used in the workshop, such as Bartender, RFID systems, and image processing software.
  • Provide training for workshop users, organize SOPs and Q&A materials, and assist in the management of workshop IT assets.
  • Participate in the planning, documentation, and deployment of new IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Implement Corporate IT management policies, gather IT needs from business departments, and provide feedback to Corporate IT.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • BS in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Over 7 years of corporate IT experience, with at least 3 years in team management. Experience in manufacturing/quality/warehousing logistics IT projects (e.g., SAP, MES, QMS, WMS) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in multi-server network environments (Microsoft/Linux/Citrix), LAN/WAN, Fiber optic and Cisco/HP networking, MS Exchange Server, MS SQL, VMware Vsphere/Microsoft HyperV, IBM AS/400, and Thin client multi-user applications.
  • Familiarity with the manufacturing processes and engineering in industries like PV solar and electronics, with the ability to quickly and effectively complete IT software and hardware installation, debugging, and problem resolution.
  • Experience with ITIL and ITSM frameworks, along with large-scale enterprise IT outsourcing service management.
  • Strong communication abilities, exceptional analytical skills, and adaptability to handle work pressure and provide excellent service.
  • Fluent in both Chinese and English, suitable for use as working languages.
  • Deep understanding of physical and virtualized networks, ability to troubleshoot computer systems, and proficiency in installing, configuring, and maintaining IT hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific IT requirements and regulations is a plus.
