MyShyft is a website and app that directly connects qualified, pre-screened, credentialed health care professionals to health care facilities and agencies, on-demand. MyShyft is dual-sided marketplace that allows health care workers to choose their own hourly rate, select which shifts they wish to work, clock-in and out inside the app, and get paid in a couple days. The health care facilities or agencies post individual shifts, which go out to all qualified health care workers on the platform and then get to select from the list of health care professionals who apply to work.


The Director of Clinic Operations will drive the implementation of the MyShyft platform’s policies and procedures by providing administrative, operational, and managerial support to the COO with primary duties and responsibilities related to implementing onboarding and credentialing procedures for new states and new service lines entered into by MyShyft, auditing and ensuring compliances with current credentialing requirements, and investigation and rapid response to high level allegations made by facilities and agencies using the MyShyft platform to find staff.


Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with and supervise Conduct Manager to respond to all health care worker/patient/facility/agency grievances and respond to appropriate parties with corrective actions.
  • Assist with risk management issues which will include the following:
  1. Handling all high-level allegations, which will include investigations, risk mitigation, documentation of the following possible cases: abuse/neglect allegations, medication diversion, theft, under influence/positive drug tests, practicing outside scope of practice
  2. Handling all low, medium offenses for clinical occurrences which will include med errors, mechanical lift transfer, and facility reported quality of care issues.
  3. Handle all workers comp issues including but not limited all administrative and case management duties.
  4. Research credentialing requirements for new states and developing the credentialing procedures for activated new health care professionals (“HCPs”) to the platform


  • Update existing credentialing procedures as needed for continued compliance per care setting and state
  • Assist COO with new service line development (i.e. - develop credentialing and compliance procedures per accrediting body and other regulating authorities)
  •  Develop, implement, and administer HCP training initiatives
  • Training internal staff as needed to incorporate further development related to clinical operations
  • Assist tech development team with new features or updates necessary to maintain compliance and/or clinical requirements
  •  Assist executive leadership team with future potential clinical partnerships
  • Assist with compiling and sending HCP information and documentation when facilities have a survey request
  • Be resource and decision-maker regarding issues surrounding professional licenses of health care workers.
  • Maintain schedule of state-specific agency licensure requirements; track any proposed legislation in states without agency laws; monitor proposed changes to existing nurse agency laws
  • Assessment, development, and implementation of policies and procedures relating to onboarding new health care workers to the platform, credentialing compliance of current users, and risk management of issues that arise on the platform.
  •   Develop and implement policies and procedures to advance dual goals of compliance and growth.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agency guidelines and standards.
  • Act as a liaison on behalf of the COO with facility/agency customers.
  • Assist with the preparation of compliance audits and participate in such audits whenever necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Education Preferred: Master’s Degree or equivalent health care work.
  • License Required: Registered Nurse
  • Clinical experience with skilled nursing facilities, long term care acute hospitals, inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, assisted living facilities, hospice or home health care agencies is preferred.
