Our team is distributed across North America, Europe, Africa and Asia.The Finance Director is a key leadership role within the organization and responsible for financial oversight of the business. As Financial Director your duties will include leading the company's financial forecasting and reporting processes, ensuring timely funding from clients for EOR employee payroll, implementing internal process improvements, driving service excellence within the company's client-facing finance function, and leading a global finance team of high-performing colleagues.We're looking for a financial leader with a background in the CPG or services industry who possesses strong GAAP knowledge, an FP&A skillset, and excellent communication skills. The Finance Director will report to the COO, work closely with all internal departments and manage our finance and accounting team of 13 colleagues. The role is a combination of Accounting (60%) and FP&A (40%).Our ideal candidate is likely to be a senior finance manager or finance director who's worked in a handful of different companies and is ready to take the next step and lead a finance function.Key ResponsibilitiesManage global finance team and oversee day-to-day functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, monthly close, and consolidation into parent company accountsManage working capital, including oversight of the AR, AP, and treasury functionsOversee the accounting team's delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsPrepare and deliver monthly and quarterly financial reporting package and insights to GX Executives and BoardIdentify and implement departmental and financial reporting process improvementsMonitor internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and statutory reporting requirementsSupport ad-hoc financial requests received from internal stakeholders and managementFinancial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)Collaborate with operational departments, including sales, marketing, and operations to drive forecasting processesDevelop and maintain financial models, templates to support operational planning, budgeting, and forecastingPresent monthly financial review to executive management team and deliver insights derived from preparing company performance metricsProvide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, including new product launches, marketing and sales initiatives, pricing recommendations, operational efficiency and profitabilityIdentify opportunities for business expansion, cost optimization, and FP&A process improvementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA preferredExperience in a fast-paced working environment such as Big Four accounting firm or start-up companyProven ability to lead global teams in a remote environment.
