We foster a dynamic and inclusive workplace where safety, innovation and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do.This highly visible position is responsible for the coordination and development of interactions between Peoples Gas and the Florida Public Service Commission (FPSC) and other related regulatory groups (within and outside Florida), for monitoring and communicating regulatory developments and for maintaining favorable regulatory relations.To succeed, you need:Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university in accounting, finance, economics, engineering or business major.In lieu of a bachelor's degree, an additional 2 years of experience with an associate's degree from an accredited college/university may be considered.Minimum of 6 years of related experience consists of: general knowledge of industry structure, history, utility finance or accounting practices, ratemaking practices, legal or regulatory processes.Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point and other PC based software.Primary duties and responsibilities include:Monitor regulatory activity and trends.Coordinate interactions with FPSC and other regulatory agencies and stakeholders.Participate in the development of appropriate regulatory strategies.Serve as Peoples Gas' Tallahassee contact for the State Emergency Operations Center when necessary.Assist Governmental Affairs.Development and implementation of action plans to advance local initiatives, franchise agreements and other External Affairs issues.An MBA or other graduate degree in the above fields will give you a competitive edge.You will be part of a team that includes inter- and intra-departmental personnel at all levels.
