Summary:
A large education institution client of Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their Facilities Planning and Development team in Kansas. This individual will be responsible for providing project management and engineering support on a wide range of capital facility projects including both new and existing construction. Typical project types are renovations, interior and exterior lighting, building electrical service entries and distribution systems, site electrical infrastructure and new construction. This role involves collaborating with strategic leaders on campus master planning, overseeing diverse design options and construction documents. The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple projects, excellent communication skills for working with various stakeholders and contractors, a background in project construction, and strong expertise in electrical design, code requirements, and safety.
Essential Job Duties Include:
- 25% Project Management for Evaluation and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM).
- 35% Project Management or Engineering Support for Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction, Actuals, and Resolution.
- 15% Ensures the success of electrical capital projects & physical improvements
- 15% Directs the development & maintenance of the electrical engineering aspects of the campus master plan
- 10% Assists in developing & maintaining departmental policies
Compensation:
$100,000 to $140,000 per year annual salary.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, licensure, and education.
