WELL-ESTABLISHED AND REPUTABLE LAW FIRM IN PORTLAND, OR is seeking a SENIOR PARALEGAL for their TRUSTS & ESTATES PRACTICE. In this position, you will assist in all stages of probate and trust administration and managing client relationships. This role provides the opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys and other paralegals while supporting the firm's top clients.


Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with trust administration, including asset identification, valuation, and distribution.
  • Prepare and file probate documents with the court.
  • Draft and review estate planning documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Oregon law.
  • Manage client communication, keeping them informed throughout the legal process.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in estate planning, trust administration, or probate law.
  • Paralegal certificate or associate’s degree in paralegal studies preferred.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
