Network Engineer

The Clifton Board of Education is currently looking to hire a Full Time (12 months) Network Systems Engineer. Start date ASAP.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Computer related field or equivalent experience within a high tech corporate or academic environment.
  • Current Microsoft certificate such as MCSA (minimum) or MCSE (preferred) – or- Current Cisco certificate such as CCNA (minimum) or CCNP (preferred)
  • Experience with the installation, configuration, and administration of Cisco Networks, including WAN, Firewall, Routers, etc.*
  • Experience with installing and managing VMware*
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
  • Valid NJ Driver’s License.

* In an Enterprise environment


OTHER DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with the installation and configuration of telecommunications components (switches, routers, WLC, IP addressing) used to interconnect servers to communication devices and client workstations in wired and wireless environments.
  • Experience in maintenance of Cisco Unified Call Manager and/or Unity Voice Mail
  • Experience in configuration and maintenance of IP security camera systems.
