Summary: The Capital Markets Analysis Manager manages various functions across the credit union's Treasury and capital markets functions. The Manager is responsible for working with senior leadership to manage the institution's fixed income investment portfolio, interest rate derivatives portfolio, and institutional funding sources. The role also contributes cross-functionally with interest rate risk modeling and liquidity management business partners, and contributes to the annual budgeting and financial planning process. Works closely with the Treasury, Finance, and Risk teams to help optimize balance sheet performance within established risk parameters. Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field required Minimum 5 years' experience in capital markets, treasury, investment analysis, or a similar function within a financial institution Strong understanding of fixed income securities, interest rate derivatives, funding markets and market risk Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial analysis; familiarity with Bloomberg, interest rate risk modeling systems and/or budget systems preferred. Familiarity with NCUA regulations, liquidity and interest rate risk guidelines, and related regulatory expectations preferred Essential Skills: Statistical analysis and quantitative techniques Able to document procedures and process flows Possess analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving and prioritization skills. Effective communication and writing skills. Highly attentive to details, while being able to work under pressure and deliver timely and accurate results. Cash Management | Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) | Treasury Management | Trend Analysis | Financial Analysis Software | Investment Analysis Software | CECL | ALM Job Responsibilities: Monitors, analyzes, and provides recommendations for fixed income investment strategies to support overall asset allocation goals and interest rate risk management. Provides analysis to be used towards the structuring and evaluation of interest rate derivatives used for hedging purposes, including preparation of documentation for transactions. Monitors and analyzes institutional funding sources such as Federal Home Loan Bank advances, brokered deposits, and municipal funding; provide recommendations to support liquidity planning and funding cost optimization. Partners with Finance and Treasury teams to support budget development, net interest income forecasting, and scenario analysis. Assist in preparing Investment Committee materials on a monthly basis. Provides analytical insight for model validation, business reviews, audit reviews and ad-hoc requests. Provides investment research and trade analysis, including preparation of pre- and post-trade documentation. Manages daily margin management with capital market partners. Maintains investment compliance reporting and assist in responding to internal and external audits or regulatory reviews. Manages development and maintenance of financial models, analytics tools, and dashboards to enhance decision-making capabilities. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
