Golf Maintenance/Landscaping WorkerThe Club at Crazy Mountain Ranch, located in Clyde Park, Montana, seeks fifteen (15) full-time, temporary Golf Maintenance/Landscaping Workers who will be responsible for landscaping and maintaining grounds of Crazy Mountain Ranch using hand and power tools and equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, and sprinkler installation.Will report directly to the Golf Course Superintendent at Crazy Mountain Ranch. Three (3) months of landscaping experience required. Applicant must complete pre-employment background check at employer's expense. Travel is not required. Daily transportation to and from worksite is provided through a shuttle service and workers are given bicycles. On-the-job training is provided. Wage: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly. Service charge-eligible position, so actual wage with service charge may occasionally be higher. Overtime is available at $30.00 - $45.00 per hour. Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 6:00am - 2:00pm, 9:00am - 5:00pm, or 10:00am - 6:00pm. Shift hours may vary.A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Optional housing is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis for workers who are relocating to begin employment. Cost of housing, utilities, meals, and internet, if accepted, is as follows: for a double occupancy room, $200.00 per month; for a single occupancy room, $400.00 per month; and for an XL single occupancy room, $450.00 total per month. Crazy Mountain Ranch uses an online portal, StarRez, for housing. If housing is used, employees will be required to sign up for an account and make all of their payments via debit, credit, or ACH online. A small service fee is included with each non-ACH transaction (approximately 7% of the transaction amount for a credit card and a $7.95 fee per transaction for a debit card). For a double occupancy room, a $200.00 refundable security deposit is required, to be made through the StarRez portal. For a single occupancy and XL single occupancy room, a $400.00 refundable security deposit is required, to be made through the StarRez portal. Security deposits may be refunded at the employer's sole discretion based upon the departure inspection. Crazy Mountain Ranch will supply meals at no cost during each shift worked.Additional, optional benefits may be offered to worker, for worker's sole benefit, including but not limited to 401k and medical, life, accident, hospital indemnity, vision, and dental insurance. If voluntarily elected by worker, employee costs/contributions for benefits will be deducted from paycheck. All deductions from paycheck required by law will be made. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will pay directly for and/or reimburse workers for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The employer will pay directly for and/or reimburse workers for all reasonable inbound transportation and subsistence costs within the first workweek. The employer will pay directly for and/or reimburse workers for all reasonable outbound transportation and subsistence costs during the last workweek. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
