Monitor Tech/Safety RounderAdventist HealthCare Rehabilitation seeks to hire a Monitor Tech/Safety Rounder for our rehabilitation department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Monitor Tech/Safety Rounder, you will:Provide continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patientsFirst line of action is to verbally redirect the patient from engaging in at-risk behaviorsImmediately notify the nursing staff if the patient requires assistanceAlternately capable of providing walking safety rounds of high-risk patients to maintain safetyBe knowledgeable and supportive of patient and institutional confidentiality and related hospital policiesEducation and Experience:High School Diploma or GED requiredSuccessful completion of the CNA program or the first year of Nursing School Program, and successful completion of the CNA examMust be certified as a Nursing Assistant by the State of Maryland and be on the State of Maryland RegistryActive American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationWork Schedule:Full Time Days: 6:45am -7:15pm, three shifts/week, alternating weekends and holidaysPay Range: $19.64 - $25.65If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as: United States of America (Non-Exempt)At Adventist HealthCare our job is to care for you.
