The ideal candidate will be energetic and passionate about helping deliver medicine and improving the value of radiological services through quality measure reporting, development, and quality clinical registry data collection.The Associate Quality Programs Specialist supports projects tied to healthcare quality programs and ACR's National Radiology Data Registry (NRDR). They provide support for ACR's Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR), coordinate new project logistics, and collaborate with national quality organizations, including the Partnership for Quality Measurement (PQM) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). This position also assists with public comments, communications, and helps develop and test quality measures for use in the clinical data registry.This position offers an opportunity to apply your quality measurement and regulatory experience within a collaborative team dedicated to improving patient care through measure development, data collection and analysis, and policy advocacy. You'll be a key contributor across all phases of measure development, including testing, endorsement, rulemaking, registry operations, and education.This role will be responsible for the following duties:Monitor progress on the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) quality programs, clinical data registry operations, and other departmental initiatives.Respond to registry participant inquiries and identify recurring issues to improve processes.Coordinate development of documentation and knowledge base resources, including consultant collaboration.Organize logistics for new project plans supporting Quality Management Program activities.Collaborate across ACR departments and member-led commissions and committees, and with external partners to implement joint projects.Provide weekly project updates to the Director.Qualified candidates will have:Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a healthcare-related field.0-2 years of experience in a professional membership organization.Project management experience (process documentation, gap analysis, process improvement) preferred.Familiarity with Smartsheet, MS Project, or MS Visio preferred.Understanding of the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA) and CMS's Quality Payment Program (Merit-based Incentive Payment System and Advanced Payment Models).Experience or familiarity with the Partnership for Quality Measurement's (PQM) measure endorsement process.Comfort working with data, including basic databases and reporting knowledge.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate in a team-oriented environment; experience or demonstrated ability to quickly learn and comprehend complex concepts in a fast-paced environment.While working a remote schedule, qualified candidates must be able to maintain a schedule of working within ACR's operating hours of 8:30A - 5:00P (EST). When working remotely, workers must be self-motivated, possess excellent time management, and be highly organized. Reliable internet connection is a mustACR is committed to a total rewards compensation philosophy that includes base salary in addition to benefits. ACR's goal is to pay competitively and equitably. It is typical for individuals to be hired at the entry to the middle of the range for their role, and compensation decisions depend on the circumstances of each case.
