Due to the continued growth and expansion of our business, we are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Civil Inspector based in our Port Lavaca Office.

The Civil Inspector will work onsite at client location in the Point Comfort, Texas.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• ·Inspector with prior experience inspecting construction operations including but not limited to reinforced concrete structures including pads, piles, footings, and retaining walls, grading/earthwork, base materials, and paving.
• ·Responsible for review of installation drawings, contractor's requests for information, change order requests, change proposals, progress reporting, contractor progress, construction coordination, attending site meetings, etc.
• ·Read, interpret, and review engineering drawings and specifications.
• ·Ensure all construction is in compliance with design specifications
• ·Maintain Inspection logs and documentation files
• ·Provide issue resolution arising from inspections
• ·Deliver a successful project to the client

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to use MS Word and Excel software to write inspection reports.
• · Comfortable with fast-paced work environment. Quick learner.
• · Excellent problem solving skills and documentation/procedural skills.
• · Safety and detail focused.
• · Industrial Plant Experience is a plus. Strong business acumen and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• · High ethical standards, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.Strong business acumen and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
