Child and Adolescent Therapist - Hybrid Vienna, VAUnder the direction of the Director of Early Childhood Services, the Child and Adolescent Therapist will provide screenings, assessments, treatment planning, and individual and family therapy to preschool-aged children (2-6 years).What makes you, you:Passion for our mission to redefine behavioral health for children and their familiesExperience providing direct psychotherapy services to childrenAmple knowledge of typical and atypical early childhood development.Outstanding communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with patients, provider partners, and colleaguesUtilize and implement evidence-based practices related to early childhood mental health.Open to professional and clinical feedback and interested in working in a supporting and collegial clinical environment.Ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness.Display empathy, or the ability to look at the client/family's situation from their perspective to understand their experience.How you'll make an impact:Provide screenings, assessments, treatment planning, and individual and family therapy to preschool-aged children (2-6 years).Participate in weekly department and team meetings, communicating client needs with the treatment team and providing feedback and/or consultation to any treatment member as needed.Complete documentation for services within 24 hours of services.Manage your schedule, including scheduling assessments and sessions and rescheduling any cancellations or make-up appointments.Report weekly productivity.Collaboration with community-based preschool education providers, which may include clinical observations and providing guidance based on children's mental health needs.Utilize appropriate evidence-based practices (PCIT and CPP).The basics you'll need:Flexibility to work a minimum of 15 hours per week during our peak "after school hours" defined as after 4pm ET during the week or if you wanted any time on weekends.Active licensure in Virginia as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.At least one year of experience providing mental health services to children under the age of 6.Why Blackbird is unique:Hybrid work modelProfessional liability insurance coveredExcellent administrative support is providedExplore your career advancement potential by receiving opportunities to grow with tenureSupportive work cultureBlackbird Health is made up of intelligent, humble, compassionate and hardworking people.
