This role ensures the smooth functioning of all office and support functions including personnel oversight, facility coordination, service delivery support, and public interaction. The County Administrative Supervisor serves as a vital link between the county office and state-level leadership to ensure operational efficiency, policy compliance, and high-quality service to the community.Primary ResponsibilitiesSupervise day-to-day administrative and clerical functions of a county office, including staff scheduling, facility coordination, document management, and supply procurement.Oversee county-based personnel, including administrative staff, front desk support, and clerical assistants.Ensure compliance with state agency policies, procedures, and documentation standards.Serve as the primary contact for local office facility issues, including maintenance requests, safety inspections, and security coordination.Act as liaison between the county office and state division or regional managers to relay operational updates, resource needs, and service challenges.Monitor customer service delivery, address public inquiries, and manage escalated issues or complaints.Support onboarding and ongoing training for county office staff.Maintain records, prepare operational reports, and assist with budgeting and procurement at the county level.Knowledge and SkillsSkilled in managing workloads, delegating responsibilities, and fostering accountability. Clear, professional verbal and written communication with staff, community members, and agency leadership. Proficient in scheduling, filing systems, and administrative workflows.
