Role Overview:


The Commercial Superintendent will oversee the daily operations of a variety of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. You will be responsible for managing on-site activities, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring smooth communication between all project stakeholders. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled superintendent with diverse experience who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage the on-site construction process for ground-up projects in sectors such as K-12, Higher Education, Commercial, and Multi-Family.
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, ensuring schedules, quality, and specifications are met.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are strictly followed, maintaining a safe work environment for the crew and all site personnel.
  • Maintain daily reports, project schedules, and inspection documentation.
  • Communicate regularly with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
  • Proactively identify and address potential issues or delays, ensuring projects remain on track and within budget.
  • Foster a positive team environment, providing leadership and support to ensure project success.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Superintendent, with proven experience in managing ground-up projects.
  • Varied project experience across sectors, particularly in K-12, Higher Education, Commercial, and Multi-Family.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a strong ability to manage teams and collaborate with project stakeholders.
  • Proficient in construction management software, project scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • OSHA certification or similar safety training is a plus.
