This segment is classified into two main product groupings carrier network and enterprise network.Job Purpose: Corning's summer internship experience is rich with hands-on learning. You'll live, work, and experience the Charlotte community while building on-the-job skills. Working with a supervisor or mentor, you will gain work experience while interacting with key technologies, subject matter experts and leaders. Our Market Development teams serve as subject matter experts, helping to solve customer challenges. They also define and prioritize new product development and work with Marketing to support the creation of customer facing materials.Program Perks:Competitive salariesAssistance with housing and travelMeaningful project and final project presentationIntern Activities:Social and networking opportunitiesWeekly tech talksCommunity involvementKey Responsibilities:Support projects and day-to-day work in a functional aspect of the Commercial processPrepare and present an executive level presentation on an assigned commercial projectParticipate in experiential learning, mentoring relationships, and development opportunitiesMinimum Requirements:Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in the following fields: Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical) or other Telecom industry related degrees (Network Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management, Optical Science & Engineering) Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or relevant SciencesGPA of 3.0 or higherInterested in commercial operations roles such as sales, marketing, sales support, customer service, field engineering, product marketing and/or product management functionsMust be available for 10 weeks during Summer 2026 (May-August 2026) with a graduation date of December 2026 or laterBe willing to work at the posted job locationProficiency with MS Office ToolsAttention to detail and bias towards actionProven analytical skills and process orientationStrong communication and interpersonal skillsOther Skills:ConfidenceProfessional and technical curiosityStrong work ethicSelf-motivatedEntrepreneurialThis position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $1,635.00 - $3,185.00 biweekly.
