Employment Type: Contract to Hire
Pay Range: $26-$36/hr. (Based on relevant experience)
Company Overview: Kelly Engineering is currently partnering with a leading medical diagnostics company in Lodi, CA. Our client specializes in developing innovative solutions for medical diagnostics, improving patient care worldwide.
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and writing various types of user documentation, including how-to guides, manuals, references, or instructions. This candidate should have strong communication skills which enable them to explain complicated concepts in a simple manner. This individual will also meet with customer representatives frequently in order to understand required content.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Produce clear and concise technical documents, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and technical teams to understand logistics processes, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation.
- Ensure that all technical documentation complies with industry regulations and other relevant quality standards.
- Partner with Logistics technicians and engineers to understand process details and requirements needed to achieve Logistics goals.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years’ experience in a scientific or technical field.
- 3+ years of Technical Writing experience.
- Experience creating work instruction elements in Word.
- Intermediate to Advanced Proficiency with MS Office.
- Strong attention to detail; strong personal organization, collaboration, and time management skills.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- In-depth knowledge of Logistics principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Lean Manufacturing methodology knowledge and experience a plus.
- Experience in Oracle Agile.
