Job Description & Skill Requirement:

  • This position is for a Senior Embedded Project Engineer to join a growing aerospace team as an important part of the Engineering team here you will actively be providing critical value to our customers by leading, and coordinating embedded projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and timeline objectives.
  • This role will work with the team, as well as our major aerospace engine customer. The ideal candidate will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to lead the design, development, and implementation of embedded software solutions, executing using best practices in embedded software operations.
  • This is considered a hybrid working position, meaning this role will require working from the customer facility in Windsor, Connecticut, and approved home offices daily.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant experience considered
  • 7+ year(s) of relevant experience in project engineering of complex projects
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and relevant technologies related to the project domain
  • Ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects from initiation to completion
  • Knowledge of programming languages commonly used in embedded systems, such as C, C++, and assembly language
  • Solid understanding of embedded software development tools, debugging techniques, and version control systems
  • Experience with both real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux platforms
