Title: Bilingual Mental Health Therapist Location: Upper Marlboro, MD Shift: HYBRID (Mon - Thur) or Part-time Available Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate Mental Health Therapist (LCPC, Contractor) to provide trauma-informed counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups. The role requires empathy, cultural competence, and a commitment to empowering clients through evidence-based therapeutic modalities. Responsibilities: • Provide counseling using CBT, play therapy, trauma-informed care, EMDR, and other modalities. • Develop individualized treatment plans with client collaboration. • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with licensure, insurance, and legal requirements. • Participate in peer case discussions and contribute to program improvements. • Collaborate with Case Managers and Intake Specialists for seamless client care. Requirements: • Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work • Active Maryland licensure as LCPC, LGPC, LPC, LGSW or LCSW • Bilingual in Spanish - REQUIRED • Valid Driver's license • Experience with trauma, grief, loss and violence counselling - Preferred Benefits: • Health, Dental, vision Insurance • 401k match • PTO, self-care days and professional development
