Procurement Manager

Applied Resource Group has partnered with a rapidly growing healthcare company in their search for a Procurement Manager. In this highly visible role, you will establish and manage inventory control, vendor relations and negotiations, and oversee the implementation of technology solutions to improve inventory management processes.

Some Responsibilities Include:

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across direct and indirect spend categories.
• Analyze spending data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and consolidate suppliers.
• Conduct effective contract negotiations and proactively manage business relationships.
• Plan and execute comprehensive supplier business reviews.
• Establish par-levels for inventory management and implement controls for supply ordering.
• Regularly update and evaluate metrics to gauge performance and implement improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, operations, supply chain, economics, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in multi-category procurement in a multi-location environment.
• Prior experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement and inventory management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
