Key Responsibilities

  • Foster a culture of excellence and productivity within your team, driving towards and surpassing hourly objectives.
  • Efficiently supervise all production activities on the shop floor, ensuring optimal staffing levels to meet scheduling demands.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of all interior work orders, meticulously updating manpower forecasts and calendars to optimize workflow.
  • Maintain a pristine and safe working environment, setting the standard for professionalism and adherence to quality control protocols.
  • Lead by example, providing guidance and support to team members in troubleshooting and administrative tasks.
  • Ensure thorough inspection of completed tasks in accordance with repair station standards.
  • Facilitate seamless communication between internal stakeholders, including Crew Chiefs, Project Managers, and Department Managers.
  • Oversee vendor interactions, including collecting quotes and managing plating processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental personnel to coordinate activities such as hangar shuffles, test flights, and aircraft washes.
  • Assign tasks and conduct advanced planning to streamline project workflow and maximize efficiency.
  • Monitor daily work progress to ensure proper allocation of labor and materials to each task.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews for team members, providing constructive feedback and support for professional development.
  • Uphold adherence to approved process specifications, driving standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate training initiatives, both formal and on-the-job, to enhance team competencies and skillsets.
  • Lead shop meetings to ensure effective communication and alignment across the team.


Job Specific Requirements:

Competencies:

  • Interior Removal and Install experience (at least five years)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude

Physical:

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, kneel, stoop, crouch or crawl, talk or hear.
  • Reach with hands or arms, grasp or pull, or lift objects up to 25 lbs.
  • Work will occasionally require lifting up to 100 lbs.
  • Exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes, and loud noises.
  • Ability to work overtime hours may be required as an essential function of this role based on business conditions and customer needs

Other:

  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers and the general public.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
