We'd love for you to join us We are looking for technicians experienced in remodeling projects to travel to our stores throughout the Eastern United States and make our stores new again.Responsibilities include:Remodeling multiple areas in the travel centers (restrooms, showers, sales floor)Performing electrical, carpentry and plumbing servicesCollaborating with general managers to resolve maintenance issuesOrdering materialsModeling behaviors that support the company's common purpose; ensuring guests and team members are supported at the highest levelEnsuring all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and proceduresQualifications required:High school diploma or equivalent certificateValid state driver's licenseMinimum 4 years in (type of work) required or equivalent combination of education and experienceTrade or vocational school preferredBackground check requiredPrior experience in electrical, plumbing, sheetrock, fiberglass, painting, tile and caulkUnderstanding of construction practicesIntermediate mathematical skillsIndividual accountability and performance standards are metAbility to prioritize, multitask and manage multiple projects successfully in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to communicate and interact effectively with different levels of the organization to negotiate, problem solve, complete projects and influence decision makingStrong analytical and strategic thinking skillsSelf-motivated with ability to work both independently and within teams in order to establish and meet deadlines, goals, and objectivesExcellent customer service skillsOvernight travel required is up to 100% and 10+ hours per dayAble to lift up to 50 lbs.Able to work evenings, weekends and odd hours as neededClimb ladders and work from elevated heightsAdditional benefits include:Nation-wide Medical Plan/Dental/VisionFlexible Spending AccountsWeekly pay401K matchTuition AssistanceAdoption AssistancePTOFuel Discount
