Role: Software Architect (SQL, Informatica, SSIS, Python)

Location: Charlotte, NC

Day 1 Hybrid Onsite


Responsibilities:

  • Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards.
  • Oversee the development of high-quality database solutions, evaluate existing databases, and recommend improvements.
  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build out new API integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity.
  • Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data.
  • Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming.
  • Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations.
  • Architect ETL processes and frameworks for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL, Informatica, and SSIS.
  • Implement effective data storage solutions and manage database access.
  • Develop set processes for data modeling, mining, and production.
  • Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems.
  • Educate staff members through training and individual support.
  • Offer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Software Architect or similar role.
  • Strong command of SQL and experience with database systems (both relational and non-relational).
  • Extensive experience with ETL tools like Informatica and SSIS.
  • Proficient with programming languages, especially Python.
  • Experience in data modeling and access control protocols.
  • Familiarity with software development methodology and release processes.
  • Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture.
