At Allied Universal, the Armed Cleared Security Officer is entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect classified information and personnel. As an Armed Cleared Security Officer, youll receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field./ppPart Time: Thursday to Sunday and Tuesday 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m./ppMust have an active Secret Clearance/ppMust have an Armed Virginia DCJS License with Firearm Endorsement/ppHourly pay rate $27.31/ppResponsibilities:/pulliProvide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information/liliConduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information/liliPreserve order and enforces rules, regulations, and directives for the viability of the site/liliGreet guests and employees, assisting where appropriate; escort visitors and contractors, secure ingress and egress points, secure classified information/liliFollow site-specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and verbal communication; interact with client and/or other security personnel regarding order execution when appropriate/liliRespond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms; act as a first responder in emergency situations and provide first aid as necessary/li/ulpQualifications (Must Have):/pulliMust possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience/liliMust be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a persons stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment)/liliLicensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment/liliMust have a minimum of three (3) years of law enforcement, military, or private armed security experience/liliMinimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state)/liliMust be a United States Citizen in order to obtain the required government clearance/liliMust be able to articulate and write clear and concise incident or situation reports/li/ulpPreferred Qualifications (Nice To Have):/pulliAssociates degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field/li/ulpBenefits:/pulliHealth insurance and 401k plans for full-time positions/liliSchedules that fit with your personal life goals/liliOngoing paid training programs and career growth opportunities/liliEmployee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues and much more.../li/ulpAllied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
