You will work closely with ML researchers, product managers, and designers to understand their requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient backend infrastructure and an intuitive and attractive frontend. Your expertise will be crucial in building a robust and user-friendly platform that enables our users to access personalized education. As a founding member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in building our innovative educational platform from the ground up. This is a hybrid role and can accommodate both remote and in-office work.Key responsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy user-facing features of our web applicationCollaborate closely with the AI team to ensure seamless integration of AI functionalitiesWork with stakeholders to understand requirements and iterate based on user feedbackEstablish strong coding, software development, and team practices to support future growthExample deliverablesDesign and implement an attractive and user-friendly landing pageFrontend for virtual assistant creation, management, and monitoringA responsive, scalable, and user-friendly community chat with virtual assistantsSystem for managing user data, uploaded data, and generated data ensuring high performance and availabilityPrivate group invitation and subscription systemsIntegrate domain-specific technologies, such as LaTeX, diagramming, plotting, visualization tools for added functionality and content representationRich Text Editor functionality for note taking and enhanced human-AI interactionRelevant experienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical fieldExperience in full stack development, including backend and frontend technologies3+ years of experience in software development building production-grade software in one or more programming languages, and working with data structures/algorithms.Relevant skillsProficiency in front-end languages (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript), back-end languages (e.g., Python, Node.js), and databases (SQL, and Vector DB)Web application development using componentized frameworks such as NextJSUnderstanding of cloud architecture and experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsThe annual salary range for this role is $130,000 – $180,000. Total compensation also includes generous equity and benefits.Job location: Denver, CO
