Aircraft Detailer LeadThe Aircraft Detailer Lead is responsible for leading and coordinating teams of detailers in the cleaning and maintenance of aircraft exteriors and interiors. This role requires the individual to train and supervise staff, ensuring that all detailing work is completed to high standards and in compliance with safety regulations. The Aircraft Detailer Lead must also manage supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper maintenance. Additionally, this position often involves quality inspection of completed work, providing feedback, and liaising with other airport and airline personnel to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee the aircraft detailing teamCoordinate and assign detailing tasks to team membersTrain and mentor new and existing staff in advanced aircraft detailing techniquesEnsure adherence to all safety and quality standards during detailing processesMonitor and manage the workflow to meet deadlines and airline schedulesInspect aircraft after detailing to ensure compliance with company and airline standardsProvide expert guidance on the use of specialized cleaning products and equipmentResolve any issues or challenges that arise during the detailing processMaintain records of detailing work completed and report on team performanceLiaise with maintenance and operations teams for scheduling and access to aircraftImplement continuous improvement strategies to enhance detailing efficiency and effectivenessOrder and manage inventory of detailing supplies and equipmentEmploying problem solving abilities for issue resolutionMaintain records of cleaning activities and schedulesProvide leadership and direction to the aircraft cleaning teams, fostering a positive work environmentProvide exceptional attention to detail to ensure all areas of the aircraft are impeccably cleanedEnsure the team follows environmental guidelines for waste disposal and chemical useDemonstrate leadership and provide guidance to the cleaning teamEnsure proper documentation and record-keeping for all cleaning activitiesDocument completed detailing tasks and report any issues or irregularitiesConduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and goalsWorking under pressure to meet internal and external targets or deadlinesCoordinate with maintenance teams for any special cleaning needsConduct regular meetings with staff to discuss performance, objectives, and ongoing projectsAssist in training new staff in aircraft detailing procedures and standardsPrepare and deliver performance evaluations for team membersVast experience in customer servicePossessing strong interpersonal skills for relationship buildingExemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standardsPerform any additional duties as assigned by managementQualifications18 years of age or olderEligible to work in the United StatesMust have a valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving recordCommunicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)1 Year of aviation cleaning experienceKnowledge of the Aviation IndustryAbility to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile DevicesEffectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic meansPass a background check and drug screenEligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidaysTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential requirement satisfactorily.
