Position Overview: Specialty: Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) Type: Locum Tenens Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Call Only Practice Setting: Inpatient Key Responsibilities: Call Coverage: Provide comprehensive call coverage for Obstetrics and Gynecology services, including managing labor and delivery, and addressing gynecological emergencies. The role primarily involves covering calls with the support of Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) who handle first-call responsibilities, allowing for a collaborative approach to patient care. Clinical Requirements: Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology. An active Pennsylvania (PA) medical license is required. Experience with the Epic EMR system is preferred for efficient patient documentation and care management. While fellowship training is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position. Flexible Scheduling: The position offers flexibility with the potential for ongoing coverage. We are looking for providers who can commit to specific dates from January to June 2025, with additional opportunities for extended coverage. Temporary privileges are available, ensuring a streamlined credentialing process for qualified candidates.
