Janitorial WorkerJoin our team as a Janitor/Environmental Service Technician and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our medical services facility campus. If you take pride in your work and value reliability, we want to hear from youResponsibilities:Clean and sanitize restrooms, floors, doors, and high-touch surfacesVacuum carpets, sweep/mop hard floors, and buff as neededDust furniture, appliances, and surfaces (high and low)Remove trash and replenish restroom suppliesMaintain janitorial equipment and safely handle cleaning chemicalsCommunicate effectively with staff, tenants, and visitors (majority of cleaning is after business hours)Walk between multiple buildings on campus as neededPerform other cleaning duties as assignedEssential Skills:Minimum 1 year of janitorial experience in commercial or residential settingsKnowledge of modern cleaning practices and equipmentStrong attention to detail and time managementAbility to work independently and follow safety protocolsGood communication and interpersonal skillsComfortable with physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, climbing, standing, etc.)Additional Skills & Qualifications:Experience with floor care, housekeeping, and janitorial tasksSkills in cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and dustingWhy Work Here?All equipment and supplies providedFull benefits available, including 401(k), health, dental, and visionBe part of a supportive team in a professional environmentWork Environment:Work performed in office and medical facility spacesPhysical activity required throughout the shift, including walking between buildingsUse of vacuums, brooms, mops, cleaning chemicals, and other toolsClimate-controlled facility with six buildings onsite shared by 12 team membersJob Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hampton, VA.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $15.37 - $15.37/hr.
