Position Overview:


They are seeking a motivated and experienced Pre Litigation Associate Attorney to join their expanding team in Houston. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the firm's mission of providing exceptional legal representation and client service while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage a caseload of pre-litigation personal injury matters, premises liability, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death cases.
  • Review drafted demands and negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
  • Supervise Case Managers to ensure efficient case progression and client communication.
  • Counsel clients on legal matters, including case strategy, potential outcomes, and settlement options.
  • Identify conflicts and devise strategies for successful case resolution.
  • Collaborate with team members and support staff to ensure seamless case management and client service.


Qualifications:


  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in pre-litigation personal injury law on the Plaintiff's side.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle complex legal matters with confidence.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
