Our client, a dynamic oil and gas company, is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to assist the company and its subsidiaries with corporate and finance transactions, including in areas of corporate governance, contract compliance, and other corporate and transactional matters. This role will work closely with the Legal, Finance and Treasury teams, and will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and filing various agreements and forms on behalf of the company. This role will also support the management of subsidiaries, preparing and maintaining electronic data rooms, legal operations and special projects, as well as generally support the in-house Legal team with research, presentations, document management, organization, and filings.


Applicants must have the following qualifications to be considered:


  • Paralegal certificate is preferred.
  • Five plus years of experience working at a law firm or in-house as a corporate paralegal, supporting corporate and finance transactions, subsidiary management, corporate governance and other related corporate matters.
  • Proficiency in using various business software tools, including entity management (CT Corp or similar), contract management (Ironclad or similar), data rooms (Merrill, Box, SharePoint), invoicing (Coupa or similar), DocuSign, Microsoft Office, and Concur.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with business team members and external counsel in a fast-paced and dynamic multi-project business environment.
