Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor CAD Drafters, ensuring their plans meet company and client standards.
- Collaborate closely with Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers.
- Create maps from field data, sketches, digital photos, and reference maps.
- Plot deeds and reference maps.
- Prepare and set up survey data for field teams.
- Analyze and convert post-survey field data as needed.
- Perform construction layout calculations, as-built surveys, and sketches.
- Prepare grade sheets.
- Conduct ALTA/NSPS land title surveys.
- Analyze topographic data.
- Write Metes & Bounds descriptions.
- Prepare FEMA Elevation Certificates.
- Develop Subdivision and Lot Consolidation Plans.
- Ensure accurate plan presentation.
- Adjust survey traverses.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Over 5 years of experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Proven ability to produce precise plan presentations.
- Knowledge of field survey operations, engineering, and the construction industry.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new software and technologies.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
- Capable of meeting project deadlines within budget.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and able to follow directions effectively.
