Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor CAD Drafters, ensuring their plans meet company and client standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers.
  • Create maps from field data, sketches, digital photos, and reference maps.
  • Plot deeds and reference maps.
  • Prepare and set up survey data for field teams.
  • Analyze and convert post-survey field data as needed.
  • Perform construction layout calculations, as-built surveys, and sketches.
  • Prepare grade sheets.
  • Conduct ALTA/NSPS land title surveys.
  • Analyze topographic data.
  • Write Metes & Bounds descriptions.
  • Prepare FEMA Elevation Certificates.
  • Develop Subdivision and Lot Consolidation Plans.
  • Ensure accurate plan presentation.
  • Adjust survey traverses.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Over 5 years of experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Proven ability to produce precise plan presentations.
  • Knowledge of field survey operations, engineering, and the construction industry.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software and technologies.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
  • Capable of meeting project deadlines within budget.
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and able to follow directions effectively.
