Our team was recently awarded a large government contract and we will need to staff ~800 additional positions next year on top of the ~3,500 that we fill annually for the business. The reason these roles are open is to support that effort, but we also had two contractors who were supporting the project convert to FT, so we are back-filling the roles.
The team is about 45 in total split between recruiters, talent partners, recruiting coordinators and background screening coordinators. You’ll find strong mentorship from other members of the team, and all are willing to pitch in to help/offer assistance.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for effective and efficient recruitment activities. Maintains active requisition load for high volume, repetitive jobs, campus recruiting, internships, and/or entry-level professional roles. Fills open positions while remaining compliant with corporate policies and procedures and applicable government activities. Recognizes and utilizes recruitment practices that will produce a diverse candidate pool.
Develop staffing plans and pipe-lining of active and passive talent to generate qualified candidate pools, conduct in-depth screens, and assess for levels of interest, qualifications and salary expectations. Conduct basic sourcing efforts, when needed.
Provide support and advises management regarding recruiting plans. Assists management with selection criteria and salary decisions. Trains new management on compliance with corporate policy, employment laws, and regulations.
Utilize recruitment tools such as the Human Capital Management (HCM) system for workflow tracking, candidate disposition, offer extension, and new hire documentation. Collaborate with team members to ensure all applicable pre-employment checks are completed.Click or tap here to enter text.
Experience:
2 years human resources experience, preferably with some experience within a Recruiting/Talent Acquisition capacity
Skills:
Good judgment skills required. Effective customer service, presentation, and organizational skills required. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated proficiency in spelling, punctuation and grammar skills. Analytical or critical thinking skills required. Ability to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.
Required Software and Other Tools: Microsoft Office. Preferred Software and Other Tools: Working knowledge of database software knowledge of access.
