About the Role: As an Entry-Level Solutions Architect at ShipBob, you will play a vital role in our go-to-market strategy for apps and integrations with leading ecommerce technologies. You will serve as a technical advisor and project manager for both partnerships and custom integrations, ensuring a seamless experience for some of the most exciting brands in ecommerce. This project-based role requires strong project management skills. You will assist the sales team in creating successful custom integrations for large clients while troubleshooting issues through a comprehensive understanding of ShipBob and related systems. Please note that this position does not focus on technical support or product management; instead, you will help accelerate our sales and partnerships teams in integrating apps and systems smoothly. Your Key Responsibilities: Support custom integration development alongside our sales team for larger merchants. Research upstream APIs and systems, creating Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and mapping fields. Draft Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for custom projects to distribute to System Integrator (SI) partners. Collaborate with the partnerships team on general-purpose integrations and relay feedback to development teams for implementation. Engage directly with customers to gather user requirements and system documentation. Project manage integrations with our SI partners, ensuring communication with internal stakeholders. Utilize internal resources and partners effectively to ensure timely and on-budget project completion. Ensure quality architectural recommendations by developing a deep understanding of upstream systems and the ShipBob API. Perform other related duties as needed. Your Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering, or Technical Account Management. 3+ years of experience with integration development, APIs, or Integration Platform as a Service (IPaaS) systems. Proficient in developing complex code, preferably using JavaScript. Proven ability to foster cross-functional alignment among Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Support teams. Strong analytical and decision-making skills to navigate complex situations effectively. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying ideas clearly across all organization levels. Ecommerce and logistics experience is advantageous. The targeted salary for this role is $120,000, with a base pay range of $90,630 - $151,050. In addition to the salary, this position is eligible for participation in the company's discretionary bonus plan.
