Datacenter Support

Bonding/Debonding of Assets:

o Provide support to Teams on processes related to bonding and de-bonding.

o Managing/Tracking/Tracing of bonded IT equipment (datacenter + infrastructure)

o Identifying unwanted assets periodically and working with logistics to send out the assets to the e- waste vendor.


IT Equipment Lifecycle Management:

o Adhere policies and receiving materials from Warehouse department.

o Ensure that the devices are labelled as per guidelines.

o Create and maintain records of the CMDB as per guidelines.

o Deploy and track the assets across all locations as needed.

o Disposal of unusable assets adhering to guidelines.


Inventory Management:

o Maintain an accurate inventory of IT hardware assets in Asset Management System.

o Conduct yearly audits on the client and datacenter equipment and update the Asset Management System to ensure accuracy of data.

o Interact/coordinate with worldwide Asset Management Team to ensure compliance with IT Guidelines.


Asset Movements and Tracking:

o Coordinate with other teams and follow the guidelines for Asset movements.

o Coordinating bulk movements across sites as per the demand.

o Record and update the movement details on CMDB for better tracking.

o Create gate pass for asset movements as per guidelines.


Client System Refresh:

o Provide forecast data to required teams.

o Adhere to client tech refresh process as per guidelines.

o Work with stakeholders to procure the new systems.

o Deploy the systems and recover the old systems from Data Center.


Material Disposal:

o Consolidate all damaged/non-usable/non-working assets every quarter and process for disposal as per guidelines.

o Adhere to US guidelines for material disposal.

o Coordinate with various other stakeholders from Finance, Logistics, to get necessary approvals. o Handle necessary paperwork’s as per guidelines.

o Coordinate with vendors to dispose the approved assets.


User Support:

o Support employee on-boarding and off-boarding process.

o Help end users on work on setups.

o Providing guidance or training to end users on responsible use of assets.


Lease Management:

o Supervision of the packing and return of servers/ Network equipment’s

o Update the records in the Asset Management System Vendor Management:

o Coordinate with vendors visiting for datacenter support.

o Coordination with vendors/suppliers delivering items.

o Coordinate with service provides visiting office for service and repair.

o Escorting Vendors/Suppliers/Service providers into sites with proper authorization and adhering to policies.


Qualifications:

· Minimum of 4+ years of experience in physical asset management.

· Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

· Proficiency in CMDB and vendor coordination.

· Strong MS Office skills for preparing, analyzing, and interpreting asset reports.


Support Coverage:

· Standard Working Time: Onsite at client Facilities from 8:30AM to 5:30PM PST or 9AM to 6PM PST - Monday to Friday (excluding AMAT and statutory holidays).

· On-call Support: Available at all other times not covered in standard working time.
