Pay: $25-31/hr
Contract: 12+ months
The individual would be expected to conduct the following:
- Conduct sample analysis using a variety of analytical techniques as needed, for example, HPLC-DAD/UV, GC, KF, UV, IR, IC, LC-MS, and GC-MS, by completely follow established experimental protocols and assess results with minimal supervision after initial training
- Document experimental activities and results in a GMP compliant fashion using an electronic data acquisition and management systems.
- Recognize and report experimental variances
- Troubleshoot experiments and instrumentation.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and optimize laboratory operations for efficient use of time and laboratory supplies/reagents when appropriate
- Consult literature to understand the scientific purpose of assignments.
- Conduct test method development and validations under supervision
- Apply basic scientific principles to research
- Learn and effectively implement new experimental protocols and/or techniques
Qualifications
- BS or MS Degree in Analytical Chemistry/Chemistry with 0 to 2+ years analytical laboratory experiences
- Strong scientific understanding and communication skills. Self-motivated, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to learn and excel in a fast-paced team environment.
- Formal knowledge of analytical separation and detection technology applied to pharmaceutical industries
- Demonstrated skills of common, wet chemical and advanced analytical techniques, including HPLC-DAD, GC, KF, UV, IR, IC, LC-MS, and GC-MS.
- Experience in QC labs and/or developing, validating, and documenting analytical methods in a GMP environment is a big plus
