Requisition ID: 37207BR Travel Required: Up to 25% Major/Essential Functions: Provides Endocrinology in-patient care, outpatient care, and in-patient consultation services Supervises and teaches students and residents in both in-patient and outpatient care Engages in advancement of scientific knowledge through research and/or scholarship Serves the academic community through participation in institutional governance such as committee work Contributes to the community through academically-related public service complementary to the institutional mission Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with Paul L. Foster School of Medicine Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibilities Upholds and promotes the values-based culture of TTUHSC El Paso Grant Funded?: No Minimum Hire Rate: salary commensurate with related education, experience and/or skills Pay Basis: Monthly Work Location: El Paso Preferred Qualifications: Board certification in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine Board certification in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine Experience teaching medical students and residents Bilingual in English and Spanish Regional or emerging national reputation for the rank of associate professor or higher Campus: HSC - El Paso Department: Internal Medicine Elp Genl Job Type: Full Time Pay Statement: Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as, the institutional pay plan.
