Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician Job Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-17:30 Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RCIS, ARRT Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Neuro experience, RCIS, ARRT Job Description: - Work in a unit consisting of 4 rooms, accommodating 1 patient per room. - Collaborate with a team of 22 staff members composed of RNs and Techs. - Participate in the day shift with a director, manager, and a minimum of 3 staff members per room. - Support the night shift on-call team with 4 staff members for STEMI call. - Maintain a patient ratio of 1:1. - Utilize equipment in all GE rooms, and document procedures in Meditech and MacLab systems. - Perform typical procedures such as cardiac catheterization, cerebellar angiograms, stents, balloons, and ENT lab functions. - Adhere to call requirements with a maximum of 15 days on call during critical periods. - Wear surgical scrubs provided by the unit. - Engage in daily huddle calls and foster strong relationships with the director, staff, and patients. - Contribute to a well-run department with a gold seal of approval and an excellent director. Additional Preferences: - Previous travel experience preferred. - Easily adaptable to a fast-paced unit. - Ability to function well independently.
