Job Description: Residential Remodeling Project Manager


Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Residential Remodeling Project Manager to join our team. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of residential remodeling projects, from inception to completion. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and resources. Your expertise in design, construction, and residential remodeling will be critical in delivering high-quality results within specified timeframes and budgets.


Responsibilities:

Planning and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with and develop subcontractors, negotiate cost estimates, schedules, and manage construction timelines.
  • Carry out punch lists, meet with inspectors. Document condition and needs, order materials. 

Project Management:

  • Manage multiple residential remodeling projects simultaneously, from start to finish, ensuring all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement effective solutions to mitigate issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality, adherence to project specifications, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Facilitate effective communication between clients, design professionals, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate cost estimation, tracking expenses, and maximizing resource utilization.
  • Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor services, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
  • Regularly review and control project costs, analyzing variations, and implementing corrective measures as necessary.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and manage a team of construction professionals, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Provide clear direction, guidance, and support to team members, ensuring they possess the required resources and tools to meet project objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Residential Remodeling Project Manager, with a track record of successfully managing multiple remodeling projects simultaneously.
  • In-depth knowledge of residential construction processes, techniques, materials, and building codes.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Curious and creative problem solver with a sense of urgency. Highly industrious person who enjoys a heavy workload
