Requirements:
A masters degree in speechlanguage pathology from an accredited program recognized by ASHA.
Must be licensed by the State of North Carolina.
Must be licensed by the ASHA.
One year of experience working with pediatric and adolescent individuals.
Atleast one year of experience working at a K12 educational setting.
one year of experience implementing IEPs.
proficient in oral and written English and possess basic computer skills.
Willing to carry out assigned tasks and perform responsibilities.
Other qualifications determined necessary.
Responsibilities:
Communicate clearly in giving and receiving oral/written instruction
Demonstrate adaptability in relations with coworkers
Exhibit an accepting and nonthreatening attitude and cultural sensitivity to children and families
Demonstrate ability to appropriately manage behavior & create appropriate learning environment to support students to attain their educational goals.
Demonstrate professional behavior consistent with the professional code of ethics and the District policy and procedures.
Shall accompany the student on the school bus to and from the school when required.
