Senior Machine Learning Engineer - NLP / LLM
We are currently partnered with a well-backed AI SaaS startup who are seeking a Senior ML Engineer, focused on driving advancements in generative AI and machine learning. The ideal candidate will be deeply immersed in the text domain, adept at combining LLM capabilities with traditional NLP algorithms to push the boundaries of generative asset creation and game development. The role offers an opportunity to work alongside experienced founders and a distinguished team with extensive backgrounds in tech leadership.
Located in a vibrant tech hub, the company fosters an environment of innovation and collaboration. The role involves ongoing research into cutting-edge methods for text-based content generation, leveraging LLMs and NLP techniques. The candidate will experiment with prompt engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation approaches to enhance model performance and output relevancy. Additionally, they will contribute to model strategy development and trend analysis to ensure the company remains at the forefront of technological advancements.
Requirements include advanced knowledge in machine learning, proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks, a strong research background, exceptional problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a proven track record of collaboration.
Essential experience:
- 5+ Years' commercial experience in ML with a strong background in NLP
- Strong Engineering skillset - this role will be focused on shipping NLP models to production
- Commercial experience with Generative AI & LLMs
- Relevant academic background - preferably a MS or Ph.D. in machine learning, natural language processing, or related fields.
