David Mason + Associates’ Civil Team is focused on site development & design including utility coordination, grading, stormwater detention & retention calculations, stormwater quality calculations & design, evaluation of surveys, and more. Our team prepares design plans for new construction and renovation projects. DMA supports clients in the education, healthcare & utility industries, among others. With a long history of relationships within the St. Louis region, we’ve also had the opportunity to work on iconic projects such as Busch Stadium, the Gateway Arch, the St. Louis Zoo, City Park - the MLS Stadium & more


Our St. Louis Civil team is look for an experienced AutoCAD (Civil 3D) Designer/Technician with previous experience who is ready to jump in and support the team.


Our ideal candidate hold an Associates Degree, has 5+ years’ of related design experience.

Essential Duties

  • CAD/Revit drawings and project documents in accordance with company standards
  • drawing mark-ups and update CAD/Revit files based on plan review comments
  • efforts with Project Manager and overall design team
  • specific work assignments in accordance with established schedules and within prescribed budgets.
  • and interpret plans, sketches, and specifications.
  • support the training of Staff Technicians and Designers as necessary. Including technical design, CAD/Revit skills, overall standards, processes, and DMA procedures.
  • Provide QA/QC support for Technicians and Designers as it relates to CAD/Revit standards and integration and client specific requirements
  • and abide by the DMA employee and safety manuals
