About this Position 

The Commerce Director’s Office provides centralized finance, budget, communications, marketing, legal, IT and HR services and resources for the Department Divisions and attached boards.

The Copywriter reports to the Communication Director and is responsible for the development of content for all of the Department’s various programs. The Copywriter coordinates with subject matter experts (SMEs) in the drafting of press releases, web articles, newsletters and print material as needed and supports
