AECOM is seeking a Piping Engineer to be based in Austin, Texas.
• Assist with QC and inspection processes during project implementation.
• Provides specialized technical input related to field construction and personnel.
• Review all aspects of architecture and engineering, bids while ensuring code requirements on project materials, equipment and all site activities are met
• Ensure adherence with project schedule and contract documents
• Participate in constructability reviews while keeping communications open with the client and providing updates throughout.
• Presents complex technical solutions and recommendations related to estimating, project controls, project management of mechanical aspects of the project.
• Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others.
• Participates in development of technical proposals.
• Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on large projects.Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree plus 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Must be able to pass client required background screenings
