Job Summary

AECOM is looking for a Senior Traffic Engineer to be based in Texas.
Our team works with local and national clients to provide solutions to their transportation needs. Typical projects include traffic projections, IAJR, traffic impact studies, travel demand modeling, traffic analysis and simulation, traffic safety analysis/studies, conceptual planning and design, and other transportation related studies and design for highway, or municipal roadways.

Position Responsibilities and duties include:

  • Delivery of traffic analysis, projections, and simulation for public sector clients

  • Preparing plan sheets, specifications & estimates, technical memoranda, reports, presentations and other project documentation

  • Providing technical leadership and supervision of small-to-large tasks, working with junior staff and reviewing technical work and project documentation

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS + four (4) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six (6) years of relevant experience

  • Texas PE
