Job Description:
The position will report directly to a Supervisor or Manager in the Office of the Associate Commissioner within the Operations Division (OAC). The Clerk II supports the OAC team by performing various clerical functions such as shared mailbox support, assigning escalations, complaints, and inquiries, developing processes and procedures. Job requires detailed oriented individuals with the ability to apply complex policies and procedures. Essential Job Functions:
Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.

Manages shared mailbox by reviewing, assigning, escalation and tracking all correspondence.

Prepares and proofreads correspondence, forms, or other documents such as example, letters, memos, travel or purchase vouchers, job announcements.

Communicates on a basic level with others (internally or externally) to provide, exchange, or verify information, answer inquiries, address issues, or resolve/report problems or complaints.

Maintains records, files, or logs (for example, administrative, personnel, contract, correspondence, forms, documents, purchasing, case files, tracking logs, files, 'documents on diskette) including filing, retrieving, or purging Batches forms prior to data entry Assembles into packets. Knowledge Skills Abilities:
Knowledge of administrative or clerical roles and responsibilities in a professional office setting.

Ability to read, understand, and apply a variety of interrelated instructions, such as those found in guidelines, regulations, and policies.

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.

Ability to maintain effective working relationships with others.

Skill in Microsoft Office products and software.
