Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited CNA training program.
Valid North Carolina CNA certification certificate
6 months to 1 year of experience working as a CNA preferably with children in a school or pediatric setting.

Responsibilities:
Assist with basic nursing tasks including monitoring and reporting on students physical health.
Support students in daily healthrelated activities as outlined in their IEP.
Assist nursing staff with health evaluations to determine students eligibility for special education services.
AHelp ensure that students physical health needs are addressed in the classroom and that programs comply with IDEA requirements.
Maintain accurate records and assist with the completion of required documentation in compliance with all relevant regulations.
Participate in IEP meetings as needed providing support to nursing staff and educators.
Maintain ongoing communication with parents teachers and other members of the health care team to ensure the wellbeing of the students.
