We a food manufacturer located outside of Chicago. Our focus is in the frozen baking space with our main focus being a private label company for many brands you know and love.

We are looking for someone to join our facility team as an HVACR technician. You will work on everything from our AC units to large freezers and chillers

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated HVACR Technician to join our team in the food manufacturing industry.

As a HVACR Technician, you will be a key member of our team, responsible maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in a variety settings. You will work with a wide range of systems and technologies, including freezers, chillers, boilers, and more. Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in a variety of construction settings.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVACR systems, including freezers, chillers, and boilers.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly.
• Inspect systems and their components (e.g. air ducts, sensors etc.) for accuracy, proper functioning, and safety.
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure HVACR systems meet project specifications.
• Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to lower level technicians.
• Keep records of all work, repairs, and maintenance performed.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVACR Technician
• Proven experience working with freezers, chillers, boilers, and other HVACR systems.
• Experience in a manufacturing or bakery environment is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of heating and refrigeration systems, including troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Completion of an HVACR training program or apprenticeship.
• EPA certification is preferred.
